Protection of Expression

The Client
As a part of a social justice-centered project, I invented the brand “Protection of Expression” in an effort to bring attention to discrimination in the workplace based around expressions of individuality.
The Task
In today’s fast-paced world, the internet and social media are some of the most convenient and effective ways to gain a large audience in a short period of time. With tools such as keyword searches and algorithms at your disposal, I utilized the creation of a social media campaign tied to a hashtag to create an Instagram campaign catered to an important social cause.










What I Did
I honed in on how people’s expressions of their individuality are often muted and scorned when it comes to the workplace by designing a series of 10 bold and bright Instagram posts catered to supporting the expressions of individuals and their tattoos, piercings, hair, etc. I also implemented the hashtag #protectionofexpression and put together a mocked up Instagram account to further showcase this series and how it might look when sharing it with an audience on social media.
